Sammy’s Bookshelf is fun! It has beautiful books with beautiful covers. It smells good like book pages. It also has sections that are easy to navigate and choose from because it isn’t overwhelming. It has beautiful jigsaw puzzles.nIt has wonderful children’s books.nnYou can go in and sit and read and have some coffee if you like.nn📚🍂 ☕️ 👓n.
We visited Sammy’s for the first time today but will definitely be back. This was a small but very well stocked bookstore with friendly staff and welcoming spaces. I was drawn to some very unique board books even though my youngest “baby” is now a teen and the overall selection was diverse without being overwhelming. I loved the focus on classics and local authors. Glad to have this option nearby!
Great spread of books in all genres. Clean establishment, very nice staff as well!!! The best part of the book store is the ✨magic wardrobe ✨ and in that space is mostly C.S. Lewis and many classics! Very awesome.nnThey also have a whole section of children’s books and a space for kids to play!
This place is clean and organized. It has great decor, some of it looks like a fairy forest and they is seating and it's just magnificent and I know I'm rambling and I'm sorry. There's an area for kids to just kick back and read.nAlso if you're looking for a specific book that they don't have they can order it for you.
A beautiful, independent bookstore that has a nostalgic charm– like the kind of bookstores many of us grew up loving. There are cozy reading nooks, along with a welcoming area for children that encourages a love of books early on. They host poetry readings and author events that bring stories to life, which make this place special. It’s more than a bookstore—it’s a true community hub and a reminder of why local bookstores matter so much.
