I read about this store on the Lafayette tourism website and have been wanting to come for some time now. The store holds two stores in one. Half romantic books that highlights the dark, LGBTQIA+ and then your regular romance novels. I am not allowed to purchase any books at the moment, but I will be back once I am allowed to once again.nnThe other half is a sweets bakery. I got two of the macaroons and an iced coffee. The prices were very reasonable, the coffee very good, and the service was amazing.nnTheir restroom was so cute, I had to take a picture! And they had feminine hygiene products in case there is a need!

I’m so bummed, I rushed on my roadtrip to get here before they closed at 4pm today. I drove from Austin and I showed up at 3:40pm and they had already closed.nSo so bummed! I leave tomorrow and they’re closed on Sundays!nThe inside looks amazing though. Just wish they had stayed open til the time it’s posted online.nThe closing time is even posted on their business’s front door.

Super cute book store and cafe. The staff was friendly and had some good recommendations! They have a great variety of different romance books and the treats were delicious!

These ladies are the absolute best! They have a great selection of romance novels for any interest, with a fun selection of treats and drinks to have while you read your new book in their comfortable, bright seating area. I love the theme changes each week, and they’ve made an awesome effort to make sure they have a consistent inventory for all their customers. Overall a fabulous place to gather in Lafayette and is a must-see for anyone coming into the area.

Absolutely obsessed with the cute romance bookstore! The vibes are immaculate, the selection of books is diverse and ever-changing– definitely worth checking out if you're a book lover! The bookish goods are too cute to pass up and having the option to grab a dessert & drink at Bonne Vie in the same space is perfection!!
