Super cool bookstore! I visited during a bookstore crawl event so it was super busy with a line for the cashier all the way out the door. It was still easy to find free street parking right next to it. The house is nicely organized with each room holding different genres. It’s charming and cozy. They invited a local tea and treats pop up (Love at First Cookie) which paired deliciously with browsing all the shelves.
We love Inklings! We adore their book trade in system and my kids always find something to read. Lots of treasures in store to find! I always leave with books that are in great condition. I love that I can order books through their system so I can support local! Highly recommend this bookstore!
I love this book shop! They have a wide variety of books, new and used all for great prices! It’s such a fun place to go book hunting with a friend. I love that with every purchase you get a free sticker, they have adorable and funny options. As someone who drove by all the time but never visited, I wish I had stopped by sooner!
A small magical garden of books! There a poster where it shows you can do a book crawl for the book lovers or book addicts. It's cozy, has chairs or sofas where you can seat and enjoy reading in one of their categorize rooms. This place is maze book rooms. Always something excited to read in every room. From old book, vintage or contemporary for every time zone, age adventurous and curious reader.
It feels more like a consignment shop for books. Prices are ebay pricing. As we were there they were discussing how much they sell for and last time sold.n$8 for a Bible I've purchased for $3 at other used bk shops.nAlso it was a lil difficult to keep balance with walking the floor is weak and wonky. Almost feels like the floor might fall through.nnI totally get that it's an old historical building. But the floor should not move like that. It really feels unsafe. I have been in many historical buildings and I've never felt a floor.like that. It felt like walking on water.nnIt was difficult to walk on. Someone with a physical disability would definitely have difficulty walking in there. I also wanted to note for people that may visit your store. There is a handicap wheelchair ramp but it would not be possible for a wheelchair to make it through the shop unfortunately.nOtherwise the shop is cute. I love seeing historical areas and buildings being repurposed. I was hoping for lower prices on most of the books. I collect vintage books and have one from the 1500s that I bought for $5.nMaybe have the flooring looked into. Putting laminate or other flooring diwn without making sure the floors are ok only helps with the appearance. That's all I was saying.
