I absolutely love the welcoming, cozy vibe of this used book store. Prices are flat and affordable, the staff/owner is always happy to help guide, and they do really impactful community work (local authors, donating to community causes, offering their space for local organizations). They have a fun selection of funky cards and beautiful stickers. The kids room has a few toy options that helps keep my toddler occupied, too!

Tons of books and tons more books than expected. The books are sorted as well. I got there late, but the customer service was exceptional. Barnes and Noble it is not, but packed full of surprises for you and your family to discover and enjoy. I found exactly what I was looking for and great value.

In fairness, this is the best bookstore in Rochester, Minnesota. This is exactly the sort of place I would open if I opened a bookstore.

This is the type of used bookstore that I dislike. They are extremely picky about which books they take, despite claiming to want to keep books out of landfills. They will take your donated books, but you have to donate 5 (their decision on what they'll take) to get a twenty percent of coupon to spend buying used books that they got for free. My books were in excellent shape, and current, but were turned away because I wasn't willing to donate them outright. It certainly feels like a slimy sales approach to sell only books that were donated and turn away people who are looking for a better discount. If anyone is looking for a better used bookstore, I'm going to stick with driving to Owatonna. Eatons doesn't play games, and they do it for the love of reading. GPB seems only interested in their love of money.
