Forsyth Tech Bookstore – Strickland Building 1st Floor

I only needed 2 textbooks, one of them was behind the counter because it was an access code. On the bookstore’s website it had $81 and in store there was a sign for $81. I get to the register and tell them what I needed, even said the class section. They tried charging me $300 for the access code. I told them about the price being $81, after checking in with someone else they realized the access codes that had sticky notes on them were labeled wrong. I wonder how many other students paid 3 times what they were supposed to for the wrong book…

The staff was extremely helpful and very attentive. They helped me with every question in any concern I had while I was in the store. They were also proactively making sure that I didn't need help with anything. They had a very large selection of school supplies including supplies that were very cute and modern. They also have a large selection of headphones earbuds charging cables charging packs and just typical accessories needed for technology used in college. They have a great selection of textbooks did you can purchase or rent. They also have a very large selection of snacks and drinks as well as coffee. They also carry Specialty Supplies based on what you may be studying like nursing supplies or welding supplies. They also have things for drawing and design majors. I will definitely be shopping there again.

Excellent school! My oldest daughter, married with two children, is pursuing an Associate's degree from Forsyth Tech. Her classes are all online and easy to navigate. The courses are challenging but she has been very pleased with the curriculum and her professors.nThe shooting incident on March 30th made headlines across the Internet, stating there was an 'active shooter' in a building on campus; However, this was incorrect. One male high school student, touring Forsyth's campus, shot himself in the hand while inside the men's restroom. There were no additional shots fired and no one else was injured.nForsyth Tech has a very safe campus. The Campus Police, FT President Janet Springs (her entire staff), along with the Winston Salem Police Department, work diligently to maintain a safe learning environment for all Forsyth Tech students.

There is usually NO parking for VISITORS that need to visit the bookstore….. this is a huge issue that needs to be resolved! You should have to park around the corner to visit the bookstore for just a 15 minute visit!

They never answer the phone at this bookstore and it makes it extremely difficult for an online student to do things such as checking on the ETA of a book arrival.
