Barnes & Noble

Barnes & Noble is back in Lakeland, which is fantastic news for all my avid readers out there!nnThis shiny new store is very well stocked and is a good sized space as well. They have almost every variety of book you could want- fiction, romance, thriller, fantasy, manga, religious, sports, and even a cooking section.nnThere’s also a whole kids section towards the back that’s really cute, along with quite a few shelves of various kinds of toys.nnYou can get lego sets here, or puzzles or a new journal or calendar, cards or other knock knack items. My favorite is probably the entire shelf of Harry Potter goodies.nnOne thing I found odd about this B&N is the way the books are organized. They are sectioned based on genre, but outside of that it didn’t seem to have much order.nnMany bookstores will alphabetize based on author names, or at least group together books based on the author, and neither of those themes were consistent here. It made looking for certain books I wanted to find difficult and confusing and honestly less enjoyable. Usually I love a good book store but wasn’t a fan of that lack of feature.

Nice and Clean Store. Customer service is lacking. Request cardboard box for defective returns even Barnes and Noble online saying just bring it to the Store.nnThe Store Employees are so long friendly as long you buying something as soon you returning something ( this is where you need Customer service) the Store Employees turn into Lecturer Mode and try everything to let you keep the return.

I'm just getting back into reading and wanted to take a book store trip to see what I like now and Barnes and Noble did not disappoint. It was so much to choose from, but not overwhelming. It was clean organized quiet fully stocked and fully staffed. I spent 2 1/2 hours in the store and bought 3 books.

Awesome to have a Barnes and Noble in Lakeland. Saves us a trip to Wesley Chapel or Brandon. They have a nice selection of books. The layout is very inviting and you can get lost (in a good way) wandering from section to section. Some areas feel a little small, but we will take what we can get. We will definitely be stopping by a lot ❤️

Love the new book smell. Well lit and cozy inside. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
