Mansfield Park

Synopsis
Mansfield Park tells the story of Fanny Price, starting when her overburdened family sends her at age ten to live in the household of her wealthy aunt and uncle at Mansfield Park and following her development into early adulthood. During her uncle’s absence in Antigua, the Crawfords come to the neighborhood, bringing with them the glare of London life and a carefree love of flirting. Prooving her character and virtue, she becomes accepted as a daughter and finds her place in the world beside a good man. Mansfield Park is the third novel by Jane Austen, first published in 1814, yet it is considered to be one of her most profound romance novels.
