Lingo Dingo and the Astronaut who Spoke Spanish Learn Spanish for Kids; Bilingual Spanish and English Books for Kids and Children

Learning Spanish for children has never been more fun!

Following on from the success of the wildly popular The Fabulous Lost and Found and the little mouse who spoke Spanish, bestselling author, and writer on the Emmy Winning Tales of Peter Rabbit, Mark Pallis returns to make learning Spanish for kids and children even more fun!

“Lingo Dingo loves to help. Anyone. Anytime. Anyhow….” In this heartwarming story, Lingo travels to space to help an astronaut. There’s just one problem: the astronaut only speaks Spanish …. What could go wrong!?!

This heartwarming Spanish English kids book:

• Blends an english language story with over 50 Spanish words and phrases so that children learn Spanish without realising;
• Builds a child’s confidence in engaging with a new language;
• Cements the foundation of a lifelong love of the Spanish language.

And now with the follow up bilingual Spanish English story, Lingo Dingo and the Chef who spoke Spanish, you can learn another 50 Spanish words and phrases!

This book uses the unique Story Powered Language Learning method work to help children learn Spanish without realising it.

Unlike other Spanish English books for children, or traditional bilingual Spanish English childrens books (or bilingual English Spanish kids books), this Spanish language learning book for kids is different. We take a fun character, Lingo Dingo, who kids will love, and then we put her in a tight squeeze, where she needs to figure out the meaning of the Spanish words and phrases in the story in order to help save the day. Kids will be so busy laughing that they don’t realise they’re learning.

Message from the Author

I am passionate about learning languages. There is something special about that sense of connection you get when you talk to another person in their mother tongue. The expression ‘they really spoke my language’ really captures that magic feeling. So unlike other Spanish childrens books, this book makes Spanish for kids fun. I really wanted to focus on words and expressions that would make people smile. Imagine the joy on the child’s face when they say that special phrase to a native speaker! They’ll feel so proud, and you will too!

with my best wishes,

Mark Pallis
