Uppercase Bookshop

This place is an absolute gem! I have only been here a few times over the years but the atmosphere they created feels like it is right out of a movie and too surreal to be true. I highly recommend this place if you are a book lover. The selection is also very nice and includes some hard to find treasures. It's nice to see bookshops like this still around in the digital age.

Great local book store! They have used books and a nice choice of gifts. The upstairs is a cozy place to sit and read. The shop owner is very personable and helpful. Great spot to spend an hour or so!

Cute building. Tiny selection. Not very thought out. The guy working seemed genuinely disinterested in helping us or answering any questions. He begrudgingly got off his chair and phone to show my enthusiastic book loving child where their graphic novels were, saying very dismissively that they are a ‘used bookstore so they don’t have much.’ We are spoiled by another fabulous used bookstore in Anacortes where the employees are friendly, helpful and the selection is plentiful. This place gave a totally different vibe — Gen Z I can’t be bothered, please get out of here, vibe. Ew. So bummed. Guess we will keep driving to Anacortes for our bookstore fix.

This bookstore has the absolute coolest atmosphere! It's well kept and clean and absolutely exudes the most delightful bookshop atmosphere. You couple that with the lovely staff who knows the content of the store and still is willing to walk you through hopefully finding what you're looking for. ❤️❤️❤️
