University of Cincinnati Bookstore

I've had the worse experience with this bookstore through an online order. I placed an online order for apparel, it got delivered but the size medium I ordered didn't fit well. I called the store and spoke with Jordan to ask for the exchange process. He sounded unsure but made it seem simple. I should return the item and once received, they'll ship the requested size, small. Once the return was delivered, I sent an email to the store asking for an update. Patrick, the campus store manager stated that they'll get it shipped out within a week. A week later and I still haven't received any updates. I called the store again and Jennifer, another store manager just was rude. She didn't really help with anything and just told me to wait and call back after a few days. I just wanted an exchange or refund but that seems too complicated for their current process.

I placed an order on the 29th of November. It is now 20 December. I haven’t received any communication from them since order confirmation. Two emails went unanswered. Phone calls during business days hours aren't answered and go to a voice message after 3-4 rings with no opportunity to leave a message for them. Very disappointed in the customer service.

It was great going back to the bookstore and getting some swag. I graduated in 1990 and promptly left Cincinnati. Just moved back after 30 years away. It was amazing being back on campus. The bookstore is very large, clean and lots of stuff. Purchase a new hat, car decal and some stickers.

This bookstore is in #tangeman university center on the main square of the #uccampus. It is a big place almost overwhelming upon entry. The staff is friendly and helpful. At the entrance there's a #giftcard display. In the back right corner there's a tech support area. The student working here is very competent, helpful and friendly. Your can buy your laptops and ipads and tech accessories here. Just walking through the store I observed they have everything that you need to live on campus for fun like games and books & the serious school work too and snacks! For more food options there is a smaller store just adjacent to this one. Getting into #tangeman university center as of April 2021 requires a school pass with monitors at the entrances. All necessary #covid precautions are enforced in the store. This is the one stop shopping place on the campus for the students and the staff. Four months ago, I visited this store and had an excellent experience. The staff was friendly, and helpful, and made my shopping spree a breeze.nWith high expectations, I decided to visit the store again. However, upon entering, I noticed no one was present at the front desk for the first few minutes. I was checking an iPad on display (Which I was planning to buy).nAs soon as I touched it, an alarm went off and drew the attention of a staff member. I expected the employee to address the situation calmly because the mistake wasn't mine. Instead, the staff member appeared upset and was rather rude in his approach. He immediately asked me to leave the area, making me feel like I had caused trouble.nI had only entered the store for three minutes and hadn't even had a chance to look for all of the items I wanted to purchase. This made me feel unwelcome and embarrassed, leading me to leave the store without making any purchases.
