The Time Capsule

Had a great time here looking through all the retro gaming stuff. The manga selection is a bit small, but I expected that as they cater more to western comics. They have a lot of comic books, records, DVDs, VHS, and games.

Cool place ! Staff was friendly and had a good amount of retro video game stuff. Front room is all comics tho, which seemed nice but I am not to sure about them. Was a good stop !

What a great store to find! Nearly 150 boxes of priced back issues and a structured discount system (Bravo!). They have a great selection of not just Marvel and DC but also a ton of independents.nnThey offer a big, diverse assortment of new books, TPBs, and manga. There's even a full room dedicated to albums. And another one filled with DVDs and video games (from modern back to NES). If you love physical media of all sorts, this place ia for you! This store sets a high bar for comic shops.

I had some underground comix I wanted to sell at this location. While the owner was not interested he did give me some good leads and an appropriate appraisal for if I wanted to do a private sale.nnIt seems like a very cool store for all your graphic novel and comic needs!

I've been to both locations of the Time Capsule a few times in my life and they great stores packed with all kinds of media and run by great people, the owner seems very kind and passionate.nnMost recently I went there on a day trip with friends, and I did pick up Battletoads on Genesis which unfortunately didn't work (these things happen with decades old tech) and I was concerned because it's too far out of normal driving distance for me to bring back. I called about and they said to email the owner, once I did and showed it not working with the receipt he fully refunded it, no need to go back or send it back!nnI really appreciate an honest return policy though, some game stores and ebay sellers can be kinda stingy about this kind of thing.
