The Snail on the Wall bookstore

Sweet little bookstore with a cool back story. This was my first visit, and I was able to pick up a book by a local author, something I always try to do when I visit a new-to-me independent bookstore. Co-owner was manning the desk and was super friendly. I shall return!

Snail is a wonderful local bookstore and a valuable asset to Huntsville. The events they host are fun and engaging. They are helpful and friendly and if they don't have the book you need they will order it. They also have a wonderful local author section which is really neat. Support your local indie bookstore!

It's so nice to have a local brick and mortar bookstore again! They have a decent selection and they are always very friendly and helpful. Anything you want, they will order for you. They do nice giftwrapping for gifts and they will ship gifts with a personal note from you for about $6. You can order books for pickup from their website and you can choose them as your bookstore on Libro.fm for audiobooks.

This is so much more than a bookstore, it’s a community hub. It’s a store with a soul. We’re so lucky to have an independent bookstore in our area that hosts incredible authors and events. Plus, they were able to help me in a bind by picking out perfectly curated gifts over the phone and having them ready so I didn't have to get my toddler out in below freezing temps. Love supporting this phenomenal woman-owned, led-with-love business.
