This bookstore is welcoming and easy to get lost in. Along with selling books their third floor hosts different community gatherings making it a welcoming third space. They host game nights, allow The silent Book Club to meet there, and other community clubs. This is an all ages welcome environment. The workers are kind and helpful. The owner is thoughtful and ridiculously gracious. This bookstore definitely has a bigger on the inside feel and a phenomenal selection.

The bookstore offers an outstanding selection of books, which on its own would merit a five-star rating. However, customer service is an essential part of the overall experience. During my visit, I waited several minutes at the counter to complete a purchase without acknowledgment or eye contact, creating the clear impression that my presence was an inconvenience. This lack of basic customer engagement significantly detracted from an otherwise strong offering.

Really good selection and friendly. They cater to everyone and have a lot of quirky interesting finds. Sci fi paperbacks from 70s, anthologies, coffee table books, plays and a large smattering of classics. The organization is coherent but there’s enough randomness so you feel you will be rewarded for scouring both floors and I was.

The guy working the desk should seriously consider working on his manners. My dad is losing his eyesight and the ability to read physical books (he has switched to a Kindle so he can increase the font size), so I have been trying to off load his collection to ease the transition and not pose a reminder in his home of his declining health. So I walked in with three small boxes to donate, with no intention of getting any in store credit, to support a local business I had found from online recommendations. The man at the desk immediately had an attitude the minute I and my friend walked in, basically mocking us as he rudely said they only looked at 2 medium boxes at a time, rolling his eyes, and huffing at us. He then saw that the boxes weren’t that big and said he would look at all of them. He rummaged for all of about 10 seconds and then declared in a nasty tone “we can’t take any of these, sorry.” I had enough and said “are you always this rude?” to which he responded “I just get so tired of people bringing in too many books and then bringing in books we can’t even sell.” I responded to him that the books were in good condition in my opinion and that I did not know much about them to know if they would sell or not, but that I was just making a pit stop there see if my donation could help a small business before I took them to the library. He had almost nothing to say except a half- attempted apology and to rub his hands on his face. Shame on you, whoever you are, for making the daughter of a voracious reader cry because she was just trying to get the books her dad loved so much out of the house because he can’t read them anymore. I hope you have the day you deserve.

This is a really cute little used book store. It’s a bit small and hidden away, but in a well kept secret kinda way. They have all kinds of books from literature to kids books to cookbooks to scifi and even Manga, including some Like Chibi Vampire which i haven’t seen in years.nThere was even an event of some kind going on when I went. If you’re into reading in any way come check out this store. You may find a book you have been looking for.
