The Collective Bookstore

My favorite bookstore in NJ! They have kind staff and an amazing selection of books. I especially adore the store layout, it’s spacious and easy to get around. It has a lovely children’s section for little ones. And they have lots of gift options as well. I’m really glad I live so close by.

I went in today for the first time as part of NJ's Book Crawl with my teen daughter. This bookstore is just so lovely. Very welcoming to everyone and so kind. The selections and displays were top notch (we frequent bookstores often). We loved the kiddie room so much! I asked for help picking out a book gift for a child. Sue had just finished reading a book to a little girl and she was just so helpful. She gave me 3 different options. I picked one and it was wrapped up. They have many other adorable items– not just books. We could have stayed there for a few hours. This bookstore was enjoyable and comfortable. Even though we don't live locally, our friends do and we WILL BE BACK!

What a wonderful bookstore! I ventured in because I had received a gift certificate to this store. What a well curated and excellent selection of books and gifts for book lovers (and others). I loved my gift certificate and had a great time picking out books to bring home. I’ll defiantly be back!

Our experience was lovely! This store is organized well and has a very funky vibe, lots of books you’d expect at larger stores as well as many art pieces and items designed by local makers.nThe kid’s area (Narnia) is the real gem here. Plenty of room for a child to engage with books and feel like they’ve been transported to a new world! There are murals and a variety of reading levels available, as well as a cute backdrop to take photos at.nI’ll be back for stickers and my next cookbook for sure!

Incredible local bookstore. Came in looking for children’s books for Easter baskets and wow, the kids section is amazing! There’s an entire room in the back with kids books and even toys that go with the books. I ended combing three books and will be back for the next holiday. What a treasure.
