WOW! What a wonderful new gem to have been added to our beautiful treasure valley! I didn’t have any expectations when I went in for my first visit but let me tell you – I was so impressed!!nnTalk about a cozy and inviting atmosphere and I was really blown away by the amazing selection of genres – there is sure to be something for everyone! So ladies, be sure to tell your fellas, not to be shy and ask them to join you when going in to check out the Book Lounge!nnI was in there for almost an hour, wanting to be sure not to miss any shelf! We saw books with covers we’d never seen before, we saw romance, fiction, sci-fi, fantasy, horror, mystery/thriller and more! They even had book “merch”!nnI was able to discover two new books I had never seen before, so I snatched them up, in addition to another one that had been on my wish list!nnThey have a loyalty rewards system set up too so be sure to sign up, all it takes is your phone number and you’re good to go!nnThey also offer a return policy which was great to see!nnThe ladies in there were welcoming, friendly, and engaging – I even heard them trying to help another lady find a specific book, and while they didn’t have that particular one, she asked for the employee’s recommendation and decided to take it so she walked out with a new read too! I think the employee was really excited that she took her recommendation too!nnI have no doubt that The Book Lounge is going to be a new hot spot in Downtown Meridian!nnWELCOME – we are thrilled to have you!!

Wonderful space to find a book, grab a drink and sit and read for a while or discuss your latest read.

Great book selection and friendly service. We'll be back!

The Book Lounge is warm and inviting. It is a space that you can have a conversation about a book you just finished or to get recommendations for your next read. There are many quiet spaces to read throughout the space. The little drip coffee bar is setup perfect so I can customize my cup of coffee. I can’t wait to go back!
