Summit Comics & Games

One of my favorite places downtown, and easily one of the best spots for any comic enthusiast or game lover, Summit Comics & Games delivers an incredible experience every time I visit. With a fantastic selection that keeps things fresh and exciting and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay and explore, but what truly makes this place special is the amazing staff who are always friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about helping customers. Tom like Batman is always leading the way as the true superhero of the business whose dedication and energy keep everything running smoothly while Alexis is right there as the perfect Robin offering great support and making every visit even better. Together they create a community vibe that turns a simple trip into something memorable and keeps me coming back again and again.

The staff is fantastic, always friendly and willing to help, it’s always fun to talk what we’re reading and our favorite artists, comics are what get me through so I’m very grateful to them.nnThey have the widest variety of new releases from many publishers, really really good deals and sales when they have them, so many great wall books/key issues that I can only dream of getting (not any fault of their own, mind you, if I bought every wall book I wanted, I’d be bankrupt😆 collect responsibly people!).nAlso a lot of books, games, toys and other hobbies which makes it easier for me to get friends and family to come along as well.nnSimply put, if you like comics, if you like games, if you like cards, if you just want to visit a cool store with cool people and cool things, GO! TO! THIS! STORE!

My partner and I love this place! The inventory is rotated and updated frequently, so there’s always something new to look at when visiting, even if you’re visiting multiple times a week.nnThey have a fantastic range of comics, and if they don’t have something you’re looking for, they can request it from another location free of charge. They also give you a call when it arrives!nnThe prices are good for a small comic shop. We’ve occasionally found items for better prices than can be found online. Overly, this is one of our favorite spots in downtown Lansing and we always bring friends here when they visit.

I've been coming here for over a decade (before it was even called Summit), and the store has continued to grow and improve over the years. The staff are ALWAYS super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. This is by far my favorite place in the Lansing area for all my comic book or collectable needs. If you're looking to get into anything geeky like comics, board games, trading cards, action figures or statues, Summit has something for you.

I moved to Lansing a few years ago due to work, and I honestly never felt like I made my place there. But shortly after moving, I checked out summit. This place is so well organized, so clean, so full of great variety of the newest comics, figures, paints, and packed with awesome friendly and approachable staff, it quickly became my go-to. I was never into collecting or reading comics before visiting summit, but I'm now hooked. Through summit, I got into Nightcrawler, x men, ninja turtles, and Martian manhunter. I was able to collect lots of manga and find interesting unique series with fantastic writing and art. I was able to find a place I could feel at home within Lansing. Now I've moved away, but I'll still be visiting summit now and then. The only place left in Lansing for me. Stay well, mein freund.
