Sooooooo many books. Such great merch! I could have spent hours just looking at all the extras besides books that they had! Loved every minute. Miles of books, notebooks, shirts, cards, and bags! They hold excellent exclusive events, beautiful blind date with a book, friendly staff. It's a must visit for all book lovers!
I was blown away by this store. It’s so big but not big in an open-space style like a suburban B&N. This store is PACKED with books, 4 floors of them. Just an enormous, well organized collection of basically any genre of books you could want. It was busy but the size of it made it where you weren’t tripping all over people in there, like it happens with some bookstores. Prices are comparable with Amazon, I found East of Eden for $19 which is pretty much exactly what it is online as well. And I’d much rather shop in-store at a place like this. I can’t wait to go back.
Very cute place with a huuuuuge colección of books and not only! The stickers were expensive tho like 5$ for a sticker is too much in my opinion. They had tote bags for 14-28$ depending on the size. Also they had post cards but not really cute ones and poster like in the picture
When you need something and it’s out of print, first visit Strand before making any other trip to another book store. Just about 100 years old and they have books! You can spend time in the store, order a unique copy or buy at a discount from many specially marked sections. Bible selections are so awesome and unique. They always say “we don’t have much” and they have the best antique selections along with new ones. I Love Strand Books!
I love a good bookstore. The second floor with the children’s area and the art books was my personal favorite. They have really awesome blind date with a book covers for young adults and kids fiction. Two wonderful employees helped me pick out a couple of my 9 and 12 year old. The rare book room was very neat but the female employee up there on Thursday was pretty rude when I asked for assistance. Despite that they still get 5 stars because all the other employees were lovely and the store was great.
