St.Benedict Religious Store

My daughter and I visited Saint Benedict Religious/Catholic store (4522 W. Market St., Greensboro, NC) on Saturday, April 12, 2025, for the first time.nnUpon entering the store, we were greeted by a very friendly lady who was straightening up some items on a shelf. There was a pleasant aroma in the air, reminiscent of powdery-scented candles or incense.nnThough the store isn’t very large in size, there is a lot of merchandise neatly stocked on the shelves, counters, and on the walls.nnThere is a large selection of laminated prayer cards (with a section of prayer cards that are written in Spanish), alter cards, and patron saint cards. There are numerous Bibles, study Bibles, religious books, pamphlets (such as ‘How To Pray The Rosary’), music CD’s, etc.nnThere is a small section of lacy mantilla veils (prayer veils) in the colors black, white, ivory, and pink.nnCrucifixes, large and small, hang from the walls and stand on shelves. Whether you want a small crucifix or a large one, a simple wooden one or an ornately carved and painted one, there are many different crucifixes to choose from.nnThere are a variety of rosaries available in different colors, sizes, and styles.nnBeautiful framed art is offered, depicting a variety of images such the Holy Family, Lady Guadalupe, Pope John Paul II, etc.nnThere is a large selection of medals which can be used for rosaries, jewelry, gifts, etc.nnPillar candles, beautiful carved statuary, christening items, First Communion items, gift bags, empty Holy water bottles, and much more can be found at this store. Jars of loose pure frankincense granules and jars of pure loose frankincense and myrrh granules are available.nnIf you are looking to explore the Catholic faith and beliefs, this is a great place to find what you need. Likewise, if you are interested in furthering your spiritual and religious journey, there are many resources available to help you achieve your goals. And while you are purchasing your items, consider something to be given as a gift for your friends, family, your Bible study group, etc.

I really like this small store. It's a great place to get a devotional item for yourself or a gift. There is also some really good items for the children in your life.

Great selection of crosses and crucifixes, saint statues, prayer books, and gifts for baptisms etc

Great shop! If the sign says open but door is locked, you might have to knock on the door of the painting company right next door since they are connected.

Lovely people with a great selection of rosaries, chaplets, statues, prayer cards and more. Highly recommend!
