This shop isn’t just a newsstand… it’s a cultural landmark. They always have the latest and greatest mags, and somehow they set the trends before anyone else. The whole staff is incredible, just decent folks through and through! Bhavan is a legend who makes every visit feel special. It’s one of the very best things about the neighborhood, and I always walk out with more inspiration, and magazines, than I planned! Five stars forever.

Weird experience. I’m giving this five stars because I don’t want to damage their ratings, and I’ve always liked this spot.nnI stopped in today to browse and was planning on stocking up on some new stuff. When I’m down, I love to just see what I can find to be inspired.nnThis has never happened before but I was almost immediately targeted by the staff. They followed me around the tiny shop, and asked me a few times if I needed help finding anything. I said no each time. By the second time I had all my years of service and retail come back? And realized they thought I was stealing. They did not ask the other customers in the shop, for the record.nnI bought the single magazine I had time to find, and left without another word, Weird weird weird. Their selection is unbeatable but I am so hesitant to come back after this.nnHuh.

Best customer service I’ve ever experienced, truly! Terek is an absolute KING. I was having trouble placing an order online because of a gift card issue, so I called in. He answered immediately and went above and beyond to help me solve the problem. He even placed the order for me over the phone, making the whole process so easy.nnTerek was incredibly understanding, patient, and responsive the entire time. I’m so grateful he helped me figure everything out, especially since this was a gift I really wanted to get right. He even sent me a photo of the exact magazine I ordered, such a thoughtful touch!nnI highly, highly recommend this place and can’t wait to visit in the future.
