This is the coziest, prettiest bookstore with the best book selection! Love the symbolism of the storefront painting too (the marigolds/cempaxochitl and hibiscus flowers). I can't wait for all the screenings, talks and events coming up. We finally have an independent bookstore in El Cerrito AND a third space. Last week's store opening was packed — got to attend the evening portion. It was a treat to get to hear Wadie Said speak on his father Edward Said's legacy.
