Orchard House Books & Cafe

Morgan is such a fantastic barista! I didn't know what I wanted, but I told her what I typically order elsewhere and suggested a draft latte with mocha and oatmilk. So delicious! Calm and clean store. More than just books – store merch, journals, and puzzles. Great prices. Not a fan of the parking situation- small lot, had to park at Taco Bell next door since there was no parking spots left.nDefinitely coming back when I'm in downtown GR again!

Visited on a weekday evening with my daughter. We ordered drinks, I had a coffee and she had lemonade. She played in the kids area and then we looked at books. They have a great selection of literary fiction (my favorite). The seating is plentiful and we had a great time. Highly recommend!

Fantastic book store in the heart of Grand Rapids! Cozy, inviting and welcome space for everyone. Great cafe and study/hangout space as well. Right away Orchard House became one of my favorite spots on a Saturday morning!

Second visit to Orchard House Books was on Indie Bookstore Day and it’s the kind of place you don’t rush.nnGrabbed a London Fog, sat in the sun for a bit while my wife kept browsing. Good tea, actual places to sit, and a store layout that makes you slow down instead of funneling you to a checkout.nnPlenty of space in this shop, but it still has a point of view. Feels like everything’s there on purpose. Easy to spend more time than you planned. I did and I still want to go back.

My sister had a very small wedding with 4 guests at the greenhouse here. The staff were so lovely. We ordered coffees and had coffee and cake after the beautiful ceremony. Shoutout to the amazing latte art by the staff- you are awesomr! It was such a perfect experience from start to finish, and this place very special, including the people who work there! Thank you!
