If you are driving around the coast and make a stop in Monterey and you find yourself wanting a John Steinbeck read to complete the trip…. Then you should stop by here. They have a great book selection, all types of books. We enjoyed our time there. We spent around an hr or so to check the books they have available. I will definitely be coming back to complete my search.nnThey also have one of the best selections I’ve seen on critical race studies.nnFound an amazing book to gift my mom regarding Trova.
The epitome of a small, book-lover-run bookstore. Neat selection and good pricing on used books. Staff genuinely care and will treat inquisitive teenagers well, which is pro-level work in my book.
Very nice staff and cool niche books but fairly limited selection
Overall very nice book store, easy to find across the street from Montery transit center. I didn't find much that Interested me in the book store. However the staff was nice and helpful. The store smells pleasantly like old books from a library. There is plenty of space to walk around in unlike other used book stores in the area.
What a magical, mystical bookstore tucked away unassumingly full of all kinds of books…my favorite kind of bookstore
