Lithos – Mineral, Fossil, Meteorite, Book and Hobby Shop

Great place, museum quality, everything is labeled with name and location. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Cool books, some antique and vintage. Large space and collection (Don't forget to pull out the drawers in cabinets there are more specimens in them), in my opinion the best rock shop in town.

We stopped by yesterday before catching a flight home. The woman (with the purple hair) tending the store was really friendly. Our son ended up coming home with some lovely petrified wood. My wife told me this was like a science museum but way better, because you can see and touch the rocks and minerals. Thank you for chatting it up with us and making us feel at home here.

Absolutely awesome experience here. The employee on staff was very kind and genuinely wanted to talk and answer questions. Came home with two beautiful fossils. Everything was priced great, too.

Totally expected to get the side eye entering this store today with 2 young children and a baby in tow, but instead, it was a wonderfully educational experience for all! Very welcoming place. My kids were mesmerized! Their curiosity was encouraged, their many questions answered, and allowance money was spent 🙂 we will absolutely be back! A special thanks to the kind gentleman who took so much time to help us out today.

A really nice rock shop very welcoming. They let you go through there draws and cabinets it's like a rock hunt in the shop! Make sure you check out there fluorescent room. Make sure you talk to Eva ! Greetings with a smile
