Gibson’s Bookstore

Every time I go into this store I tell myself that I will only be walking away with one book, but end up carrying at least 3 out lol. It's good to see this store doing so well with selling books and that people in fact still do read. Love how they incorporate local authors and have a book club to join. Need more books!

The best place to spend an hour, or a day! Between the cafe, cozy nooks for reading, and endless books and merchandise to explore, Gibson’s has it all including a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

As a new comer to the area, I was fortunate to have discovered this little gem of a place in downtown Concord. Three times I have come in a bad mood and left with a smile on my face! The staff in the building are all superb, friendly, helpful and welcoming! Today I found my first gift in the bookstore whilst my hubby was with me…the cashier helped me purchase the gift, put it in a bag, then yet another bag. Stapled the bag shut and voila! Going under my tree tonight. Thanks so much and for the lunch which made for us was Devine! All the food & drinks are delicious. I’m impressed…

Lovely store with a variety of books and toys. I particularly loved the lady (I wish I'd gotten her name) who helped us with our purchase, because she had a great taste in music-90's Hip-hop, and was kind.

Gibsons is a fun bookstore in the heart of Concord. The bookstore is laid out well, has a great selection of books in many genres, and has a cute cafe to grab a beverage and a snack while browsing. Definitely a lovely local independent bookstore option.
