Small but delightful little bookshop. Nicely organized and half price if you join the Friends of the Library. Darla was chatty and just the sweetest volunteer. Great community experience.
The Friends of the La Mesa Bookstore is a great place to find your next good read for cheap. You'll never feel guilty adding to your TBR list here with book prices mostly below $5. Plus, there's the feel-good factor of buying books here, knowing that proceeds go to support the general library collection and other library programming. The volunteers who run the bookstore are all so nice and helpful in pointing out exciting books they've recently added to the shelves.
Nice place to read, print, relax.
