I went to a new-to-me bookstore, D& K Books, today in Roseville. Imagine my surprise when I found out they’ve been open almost a year! They feature mainly independent authors in the following genres: contemporary romance, dark romance, fantasy, romantasy and horror. The majority of their books are signed by the author and they have a lot of author events. The owners are adorable and so nice! I got a goodie bag with my purchases, which is such an awesome touch with stickers, bookmarks, highlighters and tabs in it. They are open 7 days a week and have such a cute spot. I highly recommend checking them out! It’s so nice to have a great bookstore on the Eastside of metro Detroit!
Had a great experience my first visit at D&K books yesterday! Kim is so knowledgeable, passionate about her craft, and also has a very quaint little shop that provides a quiet zone for you to get lost in all of the books she has to offer. Plus – it smells AMAZING inside! Her husband Dan was also there and was telling me all about how they started! So amazing to see a local veteran couple in business in our city! Kim offers selections from indie authors – including best selling author Ruby Darling. She also has the best smelling candle line (from another small business), keychains, coffee mugs, tumblers, shirts, and so much more! I picked up a SIGNED copy of Gray Area by Kade Charest while I was there and am so excited to read it and even more excited to come back soon!! Check them out so super soon – you won’t regret it!
Welcome D & K Books to Roseville!nthis quaint little bookstore is @ 13 Mile & Normal St right next to In and Out Tobacco Store. Veterans & local owners Dan and Kim are passionate about books. Please stop by and support a local business. D & K features fantasy sci-fi horror dark romance and more. Kim has lots of knowledge about the books and is friendly and easy to talk to. Check out was pretty easy I even got a little grab bag and enter two tickets for a drawing. They also feature authors from time to time make sure you check out their website four times and dates Etc
Kim is awesome! Love this book store! Tons of extras she threw in! Love the vibe! A definite must visit.
Very nice staff and a great selection of books. Just needs more horror!
