A delightful little local comic shop. I've found the most amazing new things to read by just going in, telling the owner what kind of vibe I'm looking for, and then getting their recommendations. For my fellow queer nerds, it has that safe good library/bookstore feel where you just want to stay all day 💖
My partner and I went here looking for a same day release, but they had already sold out of the copies they had. The folks inside were AWESOME though and put us on the waitlist for the second printing! I had been wanting to visit for a while, and I’m sorry to myself that I waited so long!
Super cool little comic shop on Colfax. It has a very homey feel, kind of just feeling like someone's house with a curated collection of cool comics. Everything from single issues to omnibuses.
The choicest graphic novels and collected editions in a cool part of town. Also the owner is a super nice dude who knows his stuff and always ready to talk all things comics. Check them out for First Friday! Highly recommend!
My boyfriend and I came in from NYC and ended up spending almost two hours talking with the owner about comics and everything in between. The shop is called 'Danny the Comic Shop,' a clever nod to Doom patrol. It’s small but full of heart. Definitely a must-visit for any comic book fan!
