Community College of Philadelphia Main Campus Bookstore

I am writing to formally report an unpleasant and unprofessional experience I encountered with the manager at the MAIN Campus Bookstore.nnDuring my recent visit, I sought assistance in returning a book that had been sold to me in error by a member of the main campus bookstore staff. Rather than addressing the issue professionally, the manager displayed a very unpleasant attitude and a hostile demeanor. When I requested written confirmation that she was declining to process my return, she scribbled an unclear note with false initials on my receipt, despite my request for her to provide her full name for documentation purposes.nnIn addition to her unprofessional conduct toward me, I also observed that she spoke to her colleagues in a condescending and disrespectful tone, which appeared to contribute to a tense and uncomfortable work environment.nnI have already submitted a detailed electronic complaint to the appropriate campus departments regarding this incident. However, if this matter is not resolved promptly, I intend to escalate my concerns to the Mayor’s Office.nnI respectfully request that this matter be investigated thoroughly and that appropriate action be taken to ensure all students and community members are treated with professionalism and respect when seeking assistance at the bookstore.nnThank you for your attention to this serious matter.

Bookstore clerk for pickup was incredibly rude. She initially gave ME the wrong package and had the nerve to have an attitude when I came back to return it and receive my original package. I gave them every bit of information about my package more than a few times. I understand I was supposed to wait for email and once I received the ready for pickup email I came back to the counter and they kept telling me it wasn't actually ready, even though I just picked up my AirPods after getting the ready email. After a bunch of banter and talking about me behind my back in close range, I finally get my package. I'll do delivery from now on because the service is just completely messed up and the attitudes are insane.

Please carefully consider what you’re buying & make sure that you are 100% certain that you won’t return it, because the refund policy is nonexistent. Looked at the bookstore’s return/refund policy, reached out by email and call & haven’t heard anything. If you’re trying to look for customer support, haha goodluck because you’re going to keep waiting. You know what, just keep my $187 bro it seems like this bookstore really needs it with the lack of service

As a professor I am not pleased with the bookstore, or it's staff.nEvery semester my students have issues purchasing required materials from the CCP Bookstore.nPrices are inflated and the only option for students using financial aid assistance.
