This is my new favorite bookstore in Columbia. It’s a beautiful layout, well organized and so pleasant to wander through. Plus, they have a cat that greets you as you enter. Definitely will be back.
Columbia Books is without a doubt the most bookstore(ish) bookstore in CoMo. There, you can find new releases and timeless treasures; you can enjoy friendly banter about your favorite book; and you can accept the love of the store's resident feline. Annette and Clayton are immensely knowledgeable and ready to help you find that perfect book.
This place had two cats which made it amazing. The books were older. I didn’t see a lot of newer books. But I was also busy petting the cat while my husband looked. But the books were well organized. We didn’t find the book we were looking for which was published in the early 2000s. It seems like it had a lot of history books and older authors.
Large selection of used books that are usually worth the price because of its pristine condition and it comes with protected clear book sleeves. The cat is clingy and very cute
Only place in town that had the book jacket covers that I needed. Plus they have an awesome bookstore cat!
