My daughter and I visited Hampton University over spring break as part of our HBCU college tour, and we had an amazing experience! Their warmth and insight truly made us feel at home. We also stopped by Collegiate Bookstore, and the stock was awesome—so many great options! Jada and John were incredibly knowledgeable about the university and the city, making our visit even more special. Meeting such great people and exploring the campus made this a truly memorable visit!
Hampton U is a beautiful campus and the bookstore has little essentials and lots of spirit wear. Check for sales.
Jada, the stock room associate. Is very rude ! As a current student and the grandson of an Alumni who donates , I feel that she is not someone who should be working in a bookstore at a place of higher education. She was blatantly RUDE , because I asked a Question about a jacket .
Super friendly staff. Now has a second location in the student center right across from the stadium.
I visit HBCU bookstores when traveling. I usually pickup t shirts and Greek paraphernalia. The bookstore had very limited staff and many boxes on the floor with merchandise waiting to be hung up. I managed to buy one t shirt.
