Nice store. Very huge and spacy. Setup could be a bit more clear. There are some signs up with the genre/type of books, but there could definitely be a little bit more direction and clarity with how large of a store area they have. More books of the same type could be grouped together. Overall nice atmosphere, lots of options!

The store itself is unique, welcoming, and full of incredible finds. What really stood out to me, though, was the staff—especially Hollie.nnAs a special education teacher, I’m always looking for engaging, durable books for my classroom, and Hollie went above and beyond to help me find board books that would truly meet my students’ needs. She took the time to listen, offered thoughtful suggestions, and made the whole process feel easy and enjoyable. That kind of genuine care and effort doesn’t go unnoticed.nnEvery staff member I interacted with was kind, patient, and helpful, which made the entire visit such a great experience. You can tell this is a place run by people who care about their customers and their community.nnI’ll absolutely be coming back and highly recommend COAS to anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind bookstore with exceptional service.

What a great bookstore right in the heart of Las Cruces! If you’re a bookworm, this is the place to be. There’s basically a genre with almost 100 books to go, with a couple copies at different prices. There’s about 5 different sections of the store, divided really nicely and all are wheelchair accessible. If you’re in the area, would highly recommend!

Looking for that special boook. No. You will still find one. They have a vast variety of very good used books. And a few new books. Collectable, series soooo many books. Very helpful and friendly staff.
