Cathedral Books and Gifts

I was searching for the times of operation & found their Google profile says the open at 7am… but on the Ss. Simon & Jude website it says that their gift shop opens at 9am. I was hoping to go to the shop as early in the morning as possible… good thing I continued looking for the correct times otherwise I would’ve show up 2hrs before they even open 😑nnI’ll update my review of the store itself once I shop there tomorrow. I just thought I’d share that their hours of operation are not listed accurately on here in case anyone else is looking like I was.

I found the most beautiful book there yesterday. I was looking for something that would speak to my soul, something that would help me show love and kindness in our broken society, something that could inspire me and not come down heavy handed with judgement (there’s enough judgement already). Something that would give me more peace and understanding of others, well I found it! I actually picked this book up first but looked at many more that caught my interest, but came back to it feeling led by the Holy Spirit. It’s called Franciscan Lectio by Fr Dan Riley, OFMnAnyone seeking meaning, peace, and love will be guided along this beautiful written work. I’m only up to page 28 yet the words have already changed me ♥️nPeace be with you♥️

Beautiful little Catholic gift shop. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because the two women working there were unfriendly.
