This charming bookstore is packed with more bird novels, field guides, & resources – new and old – than I could've imagined existed. Also has some great little bird trinkets and gift items. I am so excited to have this sweet little spot in my town!

I've been searching for a book on bird anatomy or artists published in Australia, and found it at Buteo Books! The price was very reasonable, the book was in mint condition and shipped to NC quickly. They obviously took time to package it with great care. Thank you for a wonderful transaction!

Great store for birders, naturalists, and for anyone curious about learning more about nature. There’s a wide variety of natural history books including local authors. Staff are informative and friendly. Highly recommend!

What an amazing book store all about birds and nature. Well organized and very friendly. They do a lot of mail order too.
