After our campus tour we headed to the Brown Bookstore for a few souvenirs. They have something for everyone even newborn outfits 😊 you should know that there is metered street parking but it’s scarce. We got lucky and were able to walk this popular strip of shops.

I’ve loved everything I’ve ordered and over 4 years it’s been a lot!! Great way to support Brown and get great merch! 🥰❤️

Where do i even begin. First of all, the clothes aren’t bad- overpriced but that’s how most college apparel stores are. All the XS & S were sold out so we asked the person at the tech department if they have a zip up in XS. He proceeds to scan the tag and tells us they have it but it’s downstairs and an employee needs to get it. Okay no worries right? So we go to the cashier, Simone, and she couldn’t hear understand the situation and she has the NERVE to say “You said what?” Like learn how to SPEAK to customers if you’re getting a job. Still not bothered too much we asked her to check downstairs. She didn’t even note down the item we had and just went downstairs. We waited around 10 whole minutes and she comes up and says “Nope not there” in the most rude, passive aggressive away possible. Simple solution: don’t work at a place where you can’t deal with costumers and why don’t you UPDATE your inventory count. And I don’t understand why it takes 10 minutes to find ONE piece of clothing. Her name is Simone. Very rude employee.

The Brown University bookstore in it's redesigned space is a great place to browse for favorite Alumni gear, accessories, your class and college needs but also a good cafe break. Their incorporated cafe space brings a much desired flexible space for students, locals and visitors alike to enjoy a snack and some conversation.
