Yesterday I bought this book, I loved the bookstore and a senior lady was amazing and kind she helped me searching it with me.nnFrom the moment I walked in, one of the staff members at the counter kept her eyes on me — not in a welcoming way. Being the only person there who didn’t look like everyone else, the feeling was hard to ignore. There’s a difference between being watched and being seen, and this was the former. When I finally approached the counter, she happened to step away. I don’t know what to make of that, and I’ll leave it for others to draw their own conclusions. What I will say is that an older woman stepped in and helped me with genuine kindness — so thank you to her, sincerely. She made the visit worthwhile

I love the store, very spacey and tons and tons of inventory. I am super excited to finally have a huge book store in San Marcos, but I had to drop my rating from 5 to 3. After asking about the price of joining a membership, the staff member muttered “what do you want,” which prompted me to have to ask to sign up. A little strange considering that Barnes and Nobles immediately asks and starts the sign up process after you mention it. Apart from that, its a great place!!!

Well kept store and organized. Staff is very unwelcoming and unfriendly. I came across 6 employees and not one greeted or acknowledged me. At the front register there was three women standing at the registers and they all stared and my children and I in a very strange way. Didn’t thank us for our purchase didn’t acknowledge us didn’t ask if we found everything okay didn’t ask us how we were doing. Very strange interaction. Very unpleasant.

My first time here. I daresay its better than B&N. The store was clean and organized. I was so excited to see DCC merch!! I loved it and hope they get one into the Austin area.

I love how this store is arranged. Easy to find my favorite topics, and a very unique adult coloring section with a variety of interests from pin up art to pop culture and more. And around the corner from there don't forget to stop and check out the discount end cap for these coloring books. Some are only $3 up to $6.
