My major reading choice is traditional fantasy but lately the shelves are dominated by romantasy… Romance fantasy… Which I do not care for. That may be the publisher and what they are pushing. The store focuses on hardcovers and high cost paperbacks. Almost gone are the $9.99 paperbscks. But even with these criticisms, the store is generally well stocked and organized and staff are friendly.
They have an amazing amount of manga. I was so pleasantly surprised. They also have a scratch and dent section as well, which I've never seen in BAM before.
Love this store! It's not just a bookstore, but fun nostalgic items too. Bathrooms are always clean. Staff is friendlynThey have books on clearance and even teacher resources. I do wish they had more seating around the store. Sometimes you want to make sure the book is for you.
Keep meaning to leave a review. This store has everything you could ever think of searching for. Great prices. Good selection of cute leather notebooks and gifts. Bathrooms are clean too.nYou could easily spend the day in this store.
One of the best book stores I’ve been to in CT. They had multiple editions of almost every book. Easy to walk in and accidentally stay for a couple of hours. I will definitely be back!!
