The overall experience of this bar is amazing. The staff are really knowledgeable and very kind soft-spoken people. They keep it fairly clean the facilities like the bathroom and seating areas are very well kept no food no stickiness that you would expect at some other bars.nThey have food available from The Little pizzeria next door and I have to give that a 9/10.nThe drinks that we got we're well made and the presentation was beautiful. If you are not a drinker but very much a connoisseur of tea as well this is a place for you as well!!!nThis place is hidden also behind two giant paintings that rolled to the side It's very much like a speakeasy back in the day but beautifully made and legal! 😂nI brought a party of 6 and had adequate seating It is very comfy. Tables will be close but still enough room to not feel overcrowded.n10/10 would recommend

This place is amazing. Its an hour from my house but ill definitely be making this trip to relax here with tea and a good book. The sour strawberry roobios is amazing! The entrance is so fun and smart. This may be my new favorite hangout.

This bookstore has excellent vibes! It's set up to look like an old speak easy. Tbh, I got a bit confused trying to find the entrance 🤦‍♀️ But it has all the wonder and magic of a secret hideaway. Absolutely felt like stepping into a little hidden gem. I want to take all my friends here. I want to suggest it to anyone passing through the area. I want to come back the next time I'm in Tx. Very great safe space, welcoming, cozy. Cannot recommend highly enough. If you like books and cozy spaces you'll love it 💕

One lazy Sunday with nothing to do, we skirted into Blackbird Books and Spirits😳 not having a clue, other than it was a bookstore with a menu, and all kinds of beverages, we had no idea what we were in for…bwahahahaha… eagerly welcomed by the enchanters of the establishment, we sidled up to the bar to experience their mysterious concoctions.nnJailen, who is now management and well deserved, listened to our curiosities, and introduced us to some spirits that we will not forget. Indeed, there was more than one! I think he might’ve put a spell or two or had Sarah—Barista fabulosa, do so because we stayed for a while. 😅nnOur thirst satiated, curiosities lent themselves to the darker corners mwahahahaha. I’m not sure, but I think I might’ve seen James Dean (?) in there, or was that something that was spawned from a certain concoction. 😅nnIf you have a spirit of inquiry and enjoy food, spirits of all ummmm types, and good company, traipse into Blackbird and let the specters guide you. I know we will cross over again.

Set in a speakeasy styled entrance this bookstore and bar offers excellent drink options both alcoholic and mocktails. Great staff and interesting book selections. You can also play table top games. Oh and they offerTraditional Tea service!
