My first couple of visits in the bookstore was pleasant until I met the store manager. I was explaining my situation and my interaction with another worker about returning an item. She interrupted and sternly said “No” before even saying hi and introducing herself. It made me feel like I did something wrong and I don’t even work there. Her tone was unkind and I didn’t appreciate it. I would’ve understood if she kindly told me they couldn’t do refunds without the original receipt even if it’s shown in my credit card statement, correcting the information the previous employee told me.nnOne of their employees, Thor, did offer to buy the item from me because I couldn’t get a refund which I thought was very nice.

Although this is the only bookstore listed as opening at 8am, they cater to LSUS, not the general public. Wait till later and visit the other location.

Can’t control if a student is sick. Should be some type of grace, but no they rather go ahead and charge you $300+ even if you have the book. Having to go on campus sick just to return it. Mailing it in, it wouldn’t be on time anyways. Poor way to treat customers.

I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated by the level of service received from the bookstore. The bookstore stopped taking online orders graduation regalia at the end of November, a deadline that was NEVER communicated via email to the students. They also refuse to accept orders over the phone. You’re screwed unless you live locally, which eliminates a large portion of their online student population.

The lady in the back was very rude. As she was looking for my order she was picking up other books (that people pay a ton for) and dropping them on the floor. I get that there were a ton of orders and she probably was very busy, but I found it unpleasant.
