Always a great selection of books. There is a gentleman at the checkout that has a wonderful attitude and is really good at up selling some of the books up front. He has perfect synopsis, it's like listening to a book trailer. One of my favorite B&Bs!
I love Barnes & Noble. This is a great place to meet up or have some quiet time to yourself. There is a cafe in there, says Starbucks but they didn't accept Starbucks points. They do have a good selection of pastries, drinks, sandwiches and desserts. B & N is a great place with so much information and you really can just enjoy looking through a few books or finding a quiet spot to read and reflect!
Peace and quiet, so many options and you can enjoy your coffee while reading a good book.
There was an incident that occured while I was there, it was not handled as professionally as it could have been. Once it was over the employees then were bringing it up to every guest at checkout saying how crazy the person had been and how its people like that that are ruining the community. Will be shopping at a different location for a bit.
I’ve been going to this Barnes & Noble location since the late 90s, even before it opened because my English teacher at the time had a ticket to see it before it opened. There were a lot of bookstores back when it opened but it was the nicest one, with the next nicest one being in Valencia. This location is a very serviceable enjoyable bookstore. The only problem I would cite is that it has the same issues that multiple Barnes & Noble stores have everywhere, which is creeping into sales of products which are not related to books. Their offerings of board games and other entertaining trinkets are fun but they take up a significant portion of what could otherwise be shelf space. It’s a necessary compromise for the current state of affairs but keep in mind there isn’t a lot of leisure sitting to read and the layout of the books is more geared towards browsing rather than reclining. Solid store with over a quarter century of history though.
