I love Barnes & noble but it’s not acceptable in the slightest to just open and have a disgusting bathroom 😭 I’ve been here for less than 5 minutes and I can’t even use the restroom due to the smell and cleanliness. They open at 10…

This location has a kids section that is spacious for them, with a lot of options for books and toys. The toys section kept my toddler entertained.nnI gave it a 4 starts because the changing table in the women’s bathroom was broken on the floor. I had to leave early because I had to change my toddler.

This was my childhood Barnes and Noble, so I have memories of it not being unwelcoming and filthy. As soon as I walked in, an employee glared at me; I said hello and she turned her head away from me and back to her conversation with the other employee. The bathroom doors are locked, because nothing says “Coral Gables” like locking up bathrooms like it’s some gas station in a seedy part of town. I go to the cafe and the same woman that glared at me and said nothing was now behind the counter. There was ONE set of customers in front of me, and they were together. She took their order, didn’t acknowledge me again, and went about doing everything else except actually making the order the people in front of me paid for, or acknowledging me as a customer. The food looked OLD and stale. The cheesecake slices were warped in a “U-shape.” I opted to get nothing, and didn’t bother looking around any further. The entire place was filthy, dusty… how can the main chandelier have multiple lights out? This is a management issue. Employees need to be desperately trained. They need to close it down to clean and scrub every surface, shampoo that disgusting carpet if they won’t tear it out, throw out all that old crap in the food display cases, power wash their tables and chairs. It’s gross. It’s sad. Everything needs improvement, or they may as well just put Amazon lockers inside and call it a day.

This is a very cozy Barnes and Nobles. The only real issue was parking because, well, it's Coral Gables. What do you expect? Once you find the staff they tend to be very helpful. As they're closing my Barnes and Nobles, it looks like this is going to be my new destination.

E and my mom just had a wonderful experience thanks to Philip, he was compassionate. Kind. Hilarious. Intelligent. And exceeding anyone’s expectations when they go to B&N! Thank you Philip! You made the day so much brighter for us
