Great place to bring kids if they love books. The children’s section is fantastic with a huge variety of books for different ages, from picture books to chapter books and graphic novels. There are also plenty of toys and fun items like LEGO sets and themed merchandise.nnKids will definitely enjoy browsing around here. The selection is excellent and it’s easy to spend a lot of time exploring the shelves.nnA great stop if you’re looking for books or gifts for young readers.

3 out of 5 stars because I saw an associate use the restroom, left without washing her hands, and then proceeded to work at the Starbucks cafe inside. She licked 2 fingers and her palm and turned around to start making someone’s coffee order without washing her hands. I was going to ordered, but after seeing that I left the books I was going to buy and walked out. This was the 1st time I’ve ever been to this location and loved how big and busy it was until I seen that. It was a complete turn off for my shopping experience. Also due to rent skyrocketing Merced closed their store, so now it’s a mattress place. I have to travel about an hour to Modesto or Fresno to make in store purchases. Buying online isn’t the same as holding and feeling a book in your hands.

What's not to like about this wonderful book store? Great selection of novels, autobiographies, children's books. We came today because they were giving out lego snowglobes. They have a great selection of toys for everyone. They even have a selection of vinyl records & dad's. And they have a large magazine rack. Along with a Starbucks. You can't go wrong here

It's nice to be able to go into a book store and actually look at a book before buying it. I spent over 1 hour enjoying my time enjoying my Starbucks looking at books. The staff was very helpful locating a book I was looking for.

I like this bookstore kind and caring helpful staff. Lots of great books to read and buy. I find myself not wanting to leave the store. I would recommend this bookstore to anyone.
