Acme Comics

Fantabulous.nWhat a great shop with above the board service and atmosphere…nGreat selection and what an absolutely great place to just lose yourself for a couple hours.nMy son and I absolutely loved it and will return as soon as possible.nStore is located in a great older area of Greensboro so you can get something to eat. Go do some shopping make some great finds and just spend a day of it.

The best customer experience I've had at any store in years. The guy running the shop was super friendly and knowledgeable and willing to look up a super niche character for me and found a print with them in it! I would love to come back and pick his brain about other comics I might like based on what I purchased today. Thank you so much!

I went here to get a birthday present for my dad. He was a huge Silver Surfer fan back in the day, so I wanted to get him a Silver Surfer comic in an older style he'd be familiar with. They had exactly what I wanted, and the staff even leveraged their extensive comic book knowledge to convince me to buy a comic for myself as well. I'd definitely buy from them again.

I was killing time and stopped in Acme Comics to fulfill my curiosity because I'd never been inside a comic book store before. Jermaine was super friendly and informative. Let me tell you, this store did not disappoint. From new comics to vintage and everything in between, there was nothing lacking in this space! My mom said it reminded her of when she could go to the store and by 12 cent comics.nnJermaine shared that the store had been there for 40 years! It was cool to know that I'd been able to patronize such an establishment! I hope they continue to thrive for 40 more.

I tell literally anyone who asks, and quite a few who don't, that this is the best comic store in the state of NC. I've even rather boldly claimed it's the best comic store south of NYC, and I only don't claim it's the best on the East coast because I haven't been across the entire East coast. The staff are incredibly helpful and know more than anyone could possibly need to ask about, and you will not find a wider or more well-kept selection of merchandise anywhere else. I'd live here if I could man. 10/5 stars, I literally experienced my earliest memory in this building. Thanks for puttin' me onto Starman, Jermaine. It was a hell of a read.
