This is one of those old, used, family run bookstores that are sadly being run out of business by huge corporations. Moreover, prices are exceedingly reasonable here. We're talking a dollar a paperback. But the best part is that they have books that are genuinely hard to find. Big companies sort through their books and sell old gems like Fear Street books online with a healthy profit margin. This place has shelves and shelves of them at a more than reasonable price. Thank you this is truly a bookstore you can go and dig through and find actual treasures!

Loved this place! Massive volume. Organization could be better but that is the appeal of a grassroots uses bookstore. I will go back. Found a couple of gems that had been on my want list. Filled my bicket!

First off, I want to say I think this is a fantastic used book store. People can mention in both good and bad connotations the look and disarray of the shop. But honestly that comes with the territory.nWhat matters is whether you can still see the heart and potential (or floor 😅) or whether it's a fire hazard of a store. This is definitely the former.nIt has a very kitschy sort of appeal. I see how this place could be, and probably was, a very cozy spot. I find this to be in the genre of book store that needs a pair of fresh eyes to come in, blueprint a new floor plan, and breath some fresh air into its lungs.nAs far as selection goes: this place has a good amount of everything. I came through the back entrance (could use some signage) and was immediately greeted with my go to horror, sci-fi, and fantasy. A good amount of older and even older titles. As you navigate through some of the tighter alleys and pathways you can get the feel for some of the genres your looking for. I've seen it mentioned, but some genre signage could go a long way, but it's laid out in a way that if you've ever been in a book store before, it's pretty simple to know what is what. I really like the promotion they offer for filling up a tote for 40 dollars. That seems like a really smart and good way to clear space at a good cost effective way for both parties.nWill mention for those with kiddos, this is a bit of an oddity. On one hand they have a really good selection for kids and teens, on the other hand, in one of the kids isles it's literally parallel to the romance section, which I find awkward placement.nIf my advice was welcome, I'd say:nShut the place down for a week, blueprint it, gut it section by section, rebuild and move the shelves, and downsize what you have. Honestly if you had to box up a good amount of the older books and put them out of site in storage until you could build proper shelves, I'd much prefer a walkable area, and a cozy place to look at books over sheer volume of untouched books.nLike I said, this place has a grand amount of potential. If you focused on a kids section. Maybe having a small area for newer books that are priced higher or closer to cost, and a fresh coat of paint, this place could be the spot to go instead of the blip on the map it is now.

This is such a neat little place!! It is PACKED with books! Everything at very reasonable prices. The gentleman helping us was very nice, and I'll definitely go back! Got some old prints of books, and some material to teach my kids about the history of America!

I have been going here for a few months. I dont buy books for myself, but for my mother. She loves romance novels and I am a terrible person to choose those books. The lady who owns the place is always very patient and helps me buy a bag of books for my mother. I am absolutely grateful for her assistance every time I visit!
